Boomerang offers Internships each year in the following areas:

-Producing/Artistic Directing

-Stage Management

-Directing

-Grant Writing/Development

-Audience Engagement/Social Media

-Marketing/Web

Production Internships (stage management, directing, design) are often in rehearsal, collaborative assignments that involve learning from and working with professional mentors in the execution of a full production. Schedules can often begin before first rehearsal, and continue through closing performance.

Administrative Internships (management, fundraising, grant writing, producing) are often independent from one specific production, but connected to multiple projects simultaneously. These are assignment and task oriented internships usually focused on developing skill sets within a particular area of theatre (marketing, special events, budgeting) but can touch on a myriad of things in totality. Because these are no tied to the timeline of a production, these can be tailored to the specific availability of the intern.
